Permiserts represent the best technique for providing corrosion protection of both the coupling and pin end of Permilined tubing. Permiserts consist of two inter-locking plastic pieces which are cemented in place and are sealed at make up with Permitek, a plant applied mastic. Permiserts have been in use for over 25 years, proving their value in thousands of installations.
Permisert Advantages
- Providing a five thread tolerance at make up
- Eliminating any possibility of lining eccentricity that might interfere with running survey tools
- Preventing lining damage at pin end due to over torque
Joint ProtectionExcellent protection of the coupling area is provided by a permanently flexible, plant applied mastic. Numerous additional advantages are gained by the use of inter-locking plastic insert units known as Permiserts (only on 2 3/8", 2 7/8" and 3 1/2" EUE).
